The lights are up, and the streets dazzle in New York when couples Rachel and Gary, and Ethan and Vanessa, who are complete strangers and have never met, have a mix-up of gifts and are brought tumbling into each other's lives. What starts off as a simple mix-up quickly blossoms into something more, and sends each couple on a path that seems to be irreversible.
