Park Place Technologies has promoted Chad Jones to senior director of channel sales for North America.

Park Place’s Chad Jones

Jones has been with Park Place Technologies (No. 178 on the 2021 MSP 501) for 12 years. In his new role, he’s responsible for the success and growth of the company’s North American channel business. He’s leading a 30-person team that supports its nearly 700 resellers in the United States and Canada.

“I’m most looking forward to working with the incredible North American channel team, many of whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with in previous years at Park Place,” he said. “The team’s energy and optimism is high, which is great for our partners’ businesses as well as our own. We’re here to adapt and grow together with our partners as we solve unprecedented challenges through technology and turn IT hurdles into opportunities.”

Leading EMEA Channel Sales

Prior to this promotion, Jones worked for two years in London leading Park Place Technology’s EMEA channel sales division. The EMEA channel business grew by more than 30% during his stint there.

Prior to that, Jones spent nearly a decade in development and sales roles growing the company‘s channel team. He led two of the company’s largest partners, SHI and CDW.

Jones will report to Michael Vedda, Park Place Technologies’ chief revenue officer. The two will be working closely together in his new role.

“Chad has been instrumental in our channel business’ growth and evolution to date,” Vedda said. “He has longstanding relationships in the partner community, a deep understanding of our industry, and an incredible amount of knowledge of the services that Park Place can offer our channel partners,. As the world continues to shift with the ongoing supply chain challenges and the increased focus on digital transformation, Park Place channel partners in North America are well-positioned to succeed with Chad in this role.”

Last September, Park Place Technologies unveiled a formal partner program and portal. The Uptime Partner Program comprises three tiers: platinum, gold and authorized partner. It includes a variety of marketing and sales support resources, co-selling opportunities, training, access to program investment dollars and other features.
