The death has been reported of Joe Laidlaw who played for Hereford United during the 1980/81 and 1981/82 seasons. He was 71.
Laidlaw joined the Bulls from Portsmouth for £15,000 in December 1980.
He played 62 games, scoring eight goals, before a move to Mansfield in 1982.
