Pokemon Go players have a slew of events to look forward to in September 2020, including a few revolving around Mega Evolutions. To give everyone a chance to participate, Niantic is offering a cheap Remote Raid Pass bundle in Pokemon Go's in-game shop for a limited time.

Until September 30, you can pick up a bundle of three Remote Raid Passes for only one PokeCoin. You can only claim this bundle once, and you need to have fewer than three Remote Raid Passes already in your inventory to get it.

Remote Raid Passes give you the ability to join a Raid Battle without physically venturing out to that Gym. You can use them on any Raid that appears in the Nearby screen, although there are a few caveats to keep in mind when it comes to joining Raids remotely. You can learn more about the process in our Remote Raids guide.

The aforementioned Mega Evolutions arrived last week alongside some big changes to Pokemon Go's Raid Battle system. Two- and four-star Raids were folded into the one- and three-star tiers, and a new tier called Mega Raids was introduced to the game. These feature a Mega-Evolved Pokemon as the Raid boss; if you can defeat it, you'll earn that monster's Mega Energy, which you'll need to Mega Evolve your own Pokemon.

In other Pokemon Go news, September's Community Day is set for Sunday, September 20. As voted by fans, the featured Pokemon this month will be Porygon. October's Community Day will follow on October 17 and features Charmander. A new set of Field Research tasks is also now live in the game. Each time you achieve a Research Breakthrough in September, you'll get a chance to catch Alolan Raichu.
