When BioWare and Dark Horse revealed an expanded edition of The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy, it only further fueled the rumors that a remastered collection was on the horizon. As it turns out, there is a good reason why this art book is being re-released on February 23. During last fall's N7 Day celebration, BioWare revealed Mass Effect Legendary edition, a remastered version of the original trilogy for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. While we don't know an exact release date for the collection, it's slated for this spring. In the meantime, you can preorder The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy at a discount ahead of its publication date next month.

According to the listing, the book will have a bunch of new concept art, particularly for each game's DLC. It will also feature new commentary from developers. All told, The Art of the Mass Effect Trilogy: Expanded Edition appears to have roughly 90 pages of new content, some of which has never been seen before.

The original book it expands upon was actually titled The Art of the Mass Effect Universe and released back in 2012, though finding a physical edition is costly nowadays. So for big Mass Effect fans who missed out the first time around, now's your chance to lock in your pre-order ahead of its release.
