Thrive Alliance to have training sessions

Thrive Alliance will offer Dementia Friends Training Sessions in three installments on Friday.

One in nine people older than 65 have dementia, and about half of people over age 85 have some form of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. Thrive Alliance is leading an effort to create dementia-friendly communities across Bartholomew County.

The sessions will be offered from 9 to 10:30 a.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m. or 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Thrive Alliance offices, in the Doug Otto United Way Center, 1531 13th St. Suite G900.
