FC Barcelona are planning to sell 22-year-old winger Malcom to the Premier League, despite interest from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish outlet AS reported on Thursday that they’ve confirmed Dortmund’s interest in Malcom for a summer move. Despite already making a number of signings early in the window, including wide-man Thorgan Hazard, AS believe Dortmund are looking to add another winger after the departure of Christian Pulisic.

Barcelona are looking to raise some cash, however, and they think they’ll have a better chance of doing that by selling to the Premier League. In England, Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly both interested, as the Gunners continue to search for new wide options.

Malcom, meanwhile, is just desperate for more minutes. Since his €41m move to Spain, the young winger has only played a total of 1,023 minutes across all competitions, with over a third of those coming in the Copa del Rey in rotated sides.

The Brazilian has managed six goal contributions in those minutes, scoring four and assisting two. Clearly, he’d find things easier if he could play more consistently, but he may well have to leave the club for that to happen.
