TUF 1 Alumni Lodune Sincaid Passes Away

Sad news out of the MMA world as UFC Ultimate Fighter 1 alumni Lodune Sincaid has passed away at the age of 45 years old.

An announcement was made on the fighter’s personal website:

“Lodune Sincaid was found dead April 7, 2019. Lodune was a true friend and will be missed by those close to him as well as those who crossed his path during his time on this earth. He held no grudges and left this life in peace.”

No further details have been released at this time concerning the fighter’s death.

Sincaid earned a professional MMA record of 15-9-0, picking up notable wins over Alex Schoenauer, James Irvin and Dan Molina. Sincaid won the World Extreme Cagefighting Light Heavyweight Championship at WEC 20, defeating the aforementioned Molina to win the gold by first round submission. Sincaid also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 1, losing in the elimination fights round to Bobby Southworth via second round knockout. Sincaid was last seen in action over nine years ago at a Collision In The Cage event, suffering a third round TKO loss to Giva Santana.
