The Newton Theatre Company, Newton High School students, and Newton Youth Services will present The Monologue Project: Voices of Color, June 4, at 4pm in the Newton Cultural Center. Admission is free.
They asked Newton high school students of color to submit monologues or poems to tell their stories and to shed light on their unique experiences. They will have a Q&A after the performance with the cast of twelve, moderated by Newton North Principal Henry Turner. All attendees will leave with a printed “book” of all submissions.
