I’ve never met Bob, but his story seems fascinating. Here’s a wonderful story on his coming out and founding the first gay-straight alliance in a public school. I’m looking forward to meeting him and thanking him for everything he’s done to advance equality in our city. He’s a perfect example of how local activism can have a global impact.
