The average asking price for market-price homes along Boston’s Waterfront is $995 a square foot, according to a new analysis from real estate research site NeighborhoodX.
A range of $758 to $1,773 a foot produces this average. See below.
Now! How does Boston’s Waterfront as a neighborhood compare with other water-facing enclaves such as Neponset and Squantum? As you might expect, the Waterfront has them beat.
Here’s NeighborhoodX’s Constantine Valhouli with further (and, we think, telling) analysis: “As you can see from the consolidated pricing chart, the lowest end of the price range for the Waterfront neighborhood begins at a higher point than the upper end of the other neighborhoods.
“The lowest price in Waterfront is $758 a square foot, while the highest waterfront price in East Boston is $649 a square foot."
