The visit seems to be part of the studio head's 10-day tech tour with PlayStation 4 architect Mark Cerny. Kojima, who recently minted an independent version of Kojima Productions, is currently working on a PlayStation 4 exclusive which goes a long way toward explaining the international tour.

Abrams, who just directed and co-wrote the record-breaking Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has himself gotten into video games only recently. His production company, Bad Robot, is currently collaborating with Infinity Blade developer Chair Entertainment on action strategy game Spyjinx.Precisely what the two creators could be discussing isn't clear. Though Kojima tweeted earlier this week that he is "searching for the newest technology," and may simply be making the rounds with important creators around the world.
Even so, the idea of even a minor collaboration between the two figures is exciting. Steven Strom is a freelance games writer whose name and face are plastered across the internet. One such place you can find him is Twitter.
