Update – Homicide Detectives Locate Suspect in the Shooting Death of Joseph McMahon in East Pasadena

On Friday, July 24, 2015 at approximately 4:00 p.m., homicide detectives located the suspect in the shooting death of Joseph McMahon.

The suspect was located inside his vehicle, with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, in the Los Angeles Police Department – West Los Angeles Division area.

The suspect appears to be a 24-year-old man.

The suspect’s name is not being released at the time, pending next of kin notification.

The investigation is still on-going and no further information is available at this time.
