The Star Chamber is one of those films that makes one wonder whether there is justice in this world. Michael Douglas is torn between sentencing criminals and then allowing them to go on a technicality. The Star Chamber represents 9 judges who make decisions on their own, knowing that they're on the wrong side of the law. Hal Holbrook and Yaphet Kotto are equally effective in their roles. This is a film that I saw when it was first released and was impressed with Peter Hyams' direction. Fine film for action fans as well.
The disc is ok. I was disappointed that there is no disc container and it is not labeled on either side. It is not a great copy but will suffice.
