Director Shami Thirumalai has worked with directors like the late R.C. Sakthi, K. Vijayan and Umesh Venugopal. Actor Harikumar has acted as hero in films such as Madurai Sambavam , Thoothukudi , Bodinayakanur Ganesan and Thirutham . The two of them have joined hands now for a project titled Kadhal Agathee .
“The hero is a dada (gangster) who falls in love with a girl. As he is always surrounded by thugs, he does not know how to confess his feelings for her. How he finally does it forms the crux of the story,” says the director. While Mamtha is the female lead, Pandiarajan, Devadarshini, Black Pandi and Singamuthu are doing important roles in this film that is being shot in Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
