Saturday, October 4 –

14 Stanford Cardinal (3-2) 14 @ 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (5-0) 17: Just like in 2012 Stanford probably feels like they let one slip away in South Bend. The Cardinal led 7-0 and 14-10 until ND scored a touchdown with 1:01 left in the game. Kevin Hogan threw two interceptions and the Stanford offense only put up 205 yards as a team while the usually stout defense allowed the Irish to put up 370. This week they got a Hail Mary touchdown to stun USC at the Coliseum. ASU scored twice in the final 2:43 of the game including Mike Bercovici desperation pass finding Jaelen Strong in the end zone or rather coming across the field to snap the ball out of the air. The Bruins took a 28-27 lead with 4:50 left in the fourth before the Utah made the winning field goal with 34 seconds left. UCLA had a final opportunity when they got not one but two field goal opportunities but Ka’imi Fairbairn missed after a running into the kicker penalty gave him a second opportunity. California Golden Bears (4-1, 2-1 PAC-12) 60 @ Washington State Cougars (2-4, 1-2 PAC-12) 59: Easily the most exciting game that had these teams combining for 119 points over 1,200 yards offense plus special teams galore! Washington State posted 812 yards in defeat with Connor Halliday throwing it 70 times for 734 yards with six touchdowns which wasn’t enough.
