News of the death comes less than a week after Dandridge was identified as a suspect in the Memphis shooting that left Sauce Walka wounded and claimed the life of his artist, Sayso P.
Real name Letorian Hunt, Sayso was pronounced dead at the scene, while Sauce, real name Albert Mondane, was transported to Regional One Health in non-critical condition.
Over in Memphis, authorities also identified the second suspect as 22-year-old Kevin Brown. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest and charged him with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony and theft of property $10,000-$60,000.
During a recent interview filmed before the suspect in his shooting was found daed, Sauce explained why he had no interest in seeking revenge. According to Sauce, during the deadly confrontation the shooters had a chance to take his life as well but chose otherwise.
“If I wanted to, I could have motherf—king four or 500 different men — good men — down here from different cities and states, including mine, around here ready to do whatever by snapping my finger in retaliation to what happened to me and my little brother,” he said of Sayso P’s murder.
“But as much as it hurts my soul, and it really break me down — I’m damn near getting emotional about the sh—t — I can’t retaliate because that’s not righteous. My brother had his own dealings as a man that a n—a got to respect and a motherf—ker had an opportunity to make me 100 percent accountable for the same thing… and took my life for no reason.”
