On New Year’s Eve in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, a team of medics worked through the holiday, treating five soldiers wounded in recent attacks.

On New Year’s Eve, a team of medics at a stabilisation point in the Kharkiv region prepared for the holiday while awaiting casualties.

After listening to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's speech and exchanging greetings, the sound of incoming wounded interrupted the moment.

Throughout the evening, five soldiers were treated for injuries from recent attacks. Despite the festive occasion, the team remained focused on their duties, ensuring all the wounded were taken care of and transferred to medical facilities.

By the end of the night, all five injured soldiers were expected to survive, a testament to the dedication of the medical team.
