This 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution IX is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and it has been modified with an ETS intercooler kit, a Turbosmart blow-off valve, a manual boost controller, aftermarket exhaust components, and up-rated fuel injectors along with a speed density kit and 18″ BBS wheels. It is finished in Apex Silver and features a rear wing, a sunroof, a vortex generator, and a vented aluminum hood. The cabin features aftermarket gauges, a Tomei shift knob, a JVC head unit, a MOMO steering wheel, and black leather and Alcantara covering the Recaro front seats. The turbocharger and spark plugs were replaced in preparation for the sale. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, this Evolution IX has 56k miles and is now offered with a November 2024 service record and a clean Washington state title.

The Evolution IX utilized aluminum construction for the hood and front fenders, and this example is finished in Apex Silver. Details include a rear wing, a vortex generator, a sunroof, an extended front lip, and a hood vent. The Carfax report lists a damage report in a January 2019 entry as well as damage to the rear of the vehicle in a June 2020 entry. Forged 18″ BBS wheels are mounted with 245/40 Sumitomo HTR A/S PO2 tires. Braking is handled by black Brembo calipers over ventilated discs at each corner.

The Recaro front bucket seats are upholstered in black leather and Alcantara, and matching trim extends to the rear bench seat. Appointments include air conditioning, a Tomei shift knob, and a JVC head unit.

The factory MOMO steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature. Prosport gauges for boost and oil pressures are mounted adjacent to an AEM air/fuel ratio readout in the center stack. The odometer shows 56k miles.

Work in November 2024 included replacing the spark plugs and installing a used factory turbocharger.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, an active center differential, and limited-slip front and rear differentials. An Exedy twin-disc clutch is installed, and a record from November 2024 states the clutch is worn. Aftermarket exhaust components are installed, according to the selling dealer.
