A day ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, parents-to-be Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on Friday visited the Siddhivinayak temple with their families.

Deepika, who is due this month, was seen draped in a beautiful green silk saree. It had a golden thread work on it. Meanwhile, Ranveer was seen complimenting her in an off-white kurta set.

Deepika Padukone just wore a pair of earrings to complete her look. She gracefully hid her baby bump behind the pallu of her saree. Videos of the couple’s visit to the temple are being widely shared online.

In one video, the couple can be seen walking towards the temple. Deepika was seen greeting people outside the temple. Ranveer followed his wife and greeted people around them. He then slowly guided Deepika inside the temple, walking hand-in-hand.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are due this month. The couple announced their first pregnancy on February 29, just hours before heading to Jamnagar to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The couple, in a joint Instagram post, shared a cute postcard that had the text “September” written on it, while drawings of little baby accessories were present on the card. This will be the couple’s first baby together after their marriage in 2018.

On the work front, Deepika was recently seen in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama Kalki 2898 AD, also starring Prabhas. The actress will soon be seen in Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Returns. The film will also feature her husband and actor Ranveer Singh, who will reprise his role as Simmba. The film is set for a Diwali release.
