Azan - Arabic text  with English translation

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ (2)

Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar

Allah is greater

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ(2)

ʾašhadu ʾan lā ʾilāha ʾillā -llāhu

I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ(2)

ašhadu ʾanna Muḥammadan rasūlu -llāhi

I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah

حَيَّ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَاةِ(2)

ḥayya ʿalā ṣ-ṣalāhti

Hasten to the prayer

حَيَّ عَلَى ٱلْفَلَاحِ(2)

ḥayya ʿalā l-falāḥi

Hasten to the salvation

ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ ٱللَّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar

Allah is greater

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ

lā ʾilāha ʾillā -llāhu

There is no deity but Allah

Azan is the Islamic call to prayer. Azan is called out from the mosque five times a day, in accordance with the prayer time. Azan is uttered in a loud, voice to announce to the faithful that it is time for the Obligatory Prayer and to invite them to offer the prayers.
