Liverpool are yet to sign any new players in the summer transfer window under new manager Arne Slot.
Paul Scholes says Liverpool need two signings to become a ‘really good’ team, with time running out before the new season gets underway.
But Slot has every Liverpool player full of confidence following the pre-season tour, which should comfort Reds fans.
They will, however, still want to see at least one new face arrive on Merseyside before the first ball is kicked.
It remains to be seen who will arrive first at Liverpool, if indeed Slot does make the big decision to sign a new player.

Liverpool change their mind over Martin Zubimendi
If he does, it looks increasingly like Real Sociedad and Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi is now the priority.
GIVEMESPORT has now reported that Liverpool were simply exploring the possibility of a move for the Spaniard in a bid to find competition for Wataru Endo, but have quickly found themselves confident of a breakthrough over a deal for Zubimendi.

The publication added that the player wants to move to Anfield, with Slot keen on triggering his €60million (£51.5million) release clause.
Martin Zubimendi can bolster Liverpool’s midfielder
Endo can be proud of his efforts in Liverpool’s midfield, having been brought to Anfield by Jurgen Klopp last summer.
But he may not be the right player for the hugely important number six going forward, particularly with the club’s aim to compete on all fronts.

The Reds will want to challenge the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal in the Premier League, while they will also want a strong run in the Champions League.
Zubimendi has been labelled ‘excellent’ by Terry Gibson on BBC Sport, with the 25-year-old certain to improve Slot’s midfield.
He is on the back of an impressive club campaign at Real Sociedad, which involved La Liga and Champions League football, before helping Spain win Euro 2024.
