Kiara Advani, married to Sidharth Malhotra since a year, opened up about her emotional wedding day and her first reaction to seeing Sidharth Malhotra as her groom. During an old award show hosted by Maniesh Paul, Kiara was asked about her viral wedding video. She admitted to feeling very emotional as she walked towards Sidharth. Kiara described the moment when the doors opened and she saw Sidharth standing there.She said, " I was very emotional that day, but when the door opened and I saw him standing, I was yeah I am getting married, of course, you have this feeling when you marry the man you love."

During the event, Maniesh Paul asked Sidharth to give Kiara a hug on stage as it was her first award after their marriage. Sidharth obliged and hugged her, adding to the adorable moment. The couple made a stylish appearance at the function, although fans noticed they arrived separately and didn’t pose together on the red carpet. However, they were seen sitting together during the show.

Kiara and Sidharth were married on February 7 last year in Rajasthan in a dreamy ceremony. Their wedding photos and videos, especially the one where Kiara is seen walking towards Sidharth, went viral and gave fans goosebumps. The song ‘Ranjha’ from their first film Shershaah was revamped for their wedding by Kiara's request, as it held special meaning for them.
