‘Son of Sardar 2’ is set to commence filming next month and will feature extensive international shooting locations. This is expected to add a global dimension to the film's storyline, going beyond the more localized setting in previous instalments. The decision to shoot in various international destinations suggests the filmmaker's intent to expand the narrative and appeal of the franchise, potentially introducing new characters and plot elements that leverage the diverse backdrops.
In a past interview, Kubbra shared, “As an actor, you keep waiting for good scripts and when you get them, you don’t shy away, no matter if it’s a digital or theatrical release.”
Over the past years, she has also starred in the Hollywood sci-fi show 'Foundation', and is also gearing up for the release of her next action thriller 'Deva'.
Kubbra also recently commenced filming for a comedy entertainer directed by David Dhawan, which features a talented ensemble cast including Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, Sreeleela, and Maniesh Paul.
