-Single Examination for the posts of MTS/Postman/Mail Guards • The Dept of Posts vide its order dated 18.10.2023 declared conduct of single exam for all the three cadres. • As per the 18.10.2023 orders (No17-08/2018-SPN-I), the candidates may give option for one or two or three posts. If he gives option to one cadre, it will be considered in that cadre only. He will not be considered for other cadres. • If opted for one cadre, he has to give order of preference of divisions. If not given option, he will not be considered to other divisions even though he got more marks. • For MTS, they should give preference of Po, CO,RO or DPA office. They shall give order of preference of postal divisions also. • One should join the promoted post within 7 days. Otherwise it will be deemed to have been refused.
