KOLKATA: In what may prove to be a breakthrough in the probe into the murder of Bangladeshi MP Anwarul Azim Anar in a posh Kolkata flat on May 13, West Bengal CID reportedly recovered his body parts from Bagjola canal in South 24 Parganas district’s Bhangar area on Sunday morning
“We have recovered some bones. We have sent these for forensic analysis,” said CID IG Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi.
Mohammad Siam Hossain, in CID custody after his arrest in Nepal for disposing of Anar’s body parts, his SIM card, and murder weapons, led officials to the spot, around 300 metres deep into the canal from the main motorable road, said a CID source.
