-Merger of PA (FPO) with PA (PO) – Transfer guidelines • Posting of PA in Foreign Post Kolkata and Chennai has been reviewed. • Incumbent PAs in FPO as on 31.12.2022 shall continue to be posted in FPO till promotion or cease to be in service. • If any transferred earlier from FPO to postal divisions without request may be brough back to FPO • Those opted to continue in PA FPO cadre will be considered for promotion as was done prior to the order dated 16.11.2022. • Fresh PA appointment shall not be made in FPO. • Posting in FPO against vacant posts shall be done from postal divisions on tenure basis. • Those who have completed 2 years service in Postal division shall be eligible for posting in FPO. • After completion of one post tenure, one has to posted back to the postal divisions. • They can be reposted to FPO only after completion of one post tenure in the division.
