11:13 AM ... Arlington Heights firefighters and paramedics working at the scene of a Activated Fire Alarm at 2120 South Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights. Report of an Activated Fire Alarm with a water flow problem on the third floor at Suburban Studios extended stay motel. Crew on arrival reports light smoke in the hallway by 11:18 AM. Call upgarded to a Code 3 "Reported Fire" by 11:21 AM. E3 crew heading up to the third floor with a skid. E3 reports there was a sprinkler activation and that the fire is out by 11:24 AM. Room charged with smoke with a couch on fire in a room on the third floor, and firefighters making entry by 11:24 AM. Fan brought to the third floor for ventilation by about 11:26 AM.
