Ticketmaster Supports Two Impactful Charities for World Cancer Day 2024

As the inimitable Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell both said: “Ain’t no mountain high enough.” To mark World Cancer Day on February 4, Ticketmaster is proud to launch an employee-led global virtual fitness challenge. You’ll also have the opportunity to add a charitable donation to tickets bought on Ticketmaster, with all proceeds going to cancer charities.

From February 5 until March 8, teams of 12 will combine runs, walks and steps around their local neighborhoods to add up to the 2024-mile stretch from the Ticketmaster Bangkok office to Everest’s summit. Over 500 Ticketmaster staffers are confirmed to participate across 30 offices — getting active for a good cause!

The two organizations benefiting from the challenge’s proceeds are St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the U.S., and the Canadian Cancer Society in Canada.

For over 60 years, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has led the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, while the Canadian Cancer Society — which is Canada’s largest national cancer charity — funds life-saving cancer research, provides support services for those affected by cancer, and much more.

Want to get involved? From now until February 29, you’ll have the option to add a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the U.S. and Canadian Cancer Society in Canada when purchasing tickets at Ticketmaster. Every dollar donated goes toward helping those affected by cancer and helping continue to find cures.

If you’d like to give a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society today, you can also do that here and here.
