Aamir Khan's brother
Faisal Khan, who is known for his film 'Mela' once accused the Bollywood superstar of caging and kidnapping him. He also fought Aamir in court to prove he was not mentally ill.
In 2008, Faisal Khan clarified to HT that he was never actually sick. He mentioned that the statements about his health were speculative and spread by his elder brother Aamir Khan and other family members.
Faisal claimed that he had been kidnapped and kept under house arrest, where he was given unnecessary medications. During the court proceedings, the judge declared that Faisal was not suffering from any illness, and he was deemed normal and capable of managing life independently. The judge recommended treating him like any other person.
During one of his interviews with Etimes, Faissal also openly spoke about how he was once ‘caged’ in brother Aamir Khan’s house. He said, “Qaid hone mein mazaa nahin hai (there’s no fun in being caged). I have been caged once in Aamir’s house. I don’t intend to get caged again. I want to live free and flow like water.”
