5:43 PM ... Des Plaines firefighters and paramedics responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the block of 2100 Elmira Ave Des Plaines. Report of one gunshot victim at a house, but this is false according to an anonymous witness.

Anonymous witness states that the incident was “an erroneous call to police officers in a swatting attempt.”

Another witness reported there was no shooting victim at the location.
