Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' released, the film has found itself into many controversies. People think that the film is highly misogynistic, toxic and filled with violence. Well, that's one side of the story. The other side of the story is its huge box office collection.
Many people have also loved the movie's action sequences. But, many have also felt that some sequences have been inspired from some other movies.
While some felt that the axe sequence of the movie has been copied from the Korean film 'Old Boy', now netizens feel that this sequence has got inspired from a Malayam film.
A video from a Malayalam film, 'Nayakan' has gone viral on the internet. A user put the Arjan Valley song to this sequence. You can see it here:

Users have found a lot of similarity in the 'Animal' sequences and scenes from these movies.
Interestingly, most people couldn't get over this pre-interval action sequence. During a live chat on Instagram, Kunal Kemmu and Varun Dhawan were also talking about it and Kunal said that he's been thinking about this pre-interval sequence.
'Animal' also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor, Siddharth Karnik among others. The film is now inching closer to the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office.
