Bobby Deol reveals his character was initially supposed to 'kiss' Ranbir Kapoor in Animal

Actor Bobby Deol shared unexpected insights into the climactic action scene of his latest film, "Animal." The crime epic concludes with Bobby's character, Abrar, engaging in a shirtless showdown with Ranbir Kapoor's Ranvijay on an airstrip. In an interview, Bobby revealed a love-hate dynamic between the characters, influencing certain creative decisions made by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the film.

In an interview with The Quint, Bobby also shared details about a crucial moment that Vanga eventually decided to exclude from the theatrical cut. However, Bobby hinted that this scene might be included in the upcoming OTT release, which is anticipated to have a runtime even longer than the current 201 minutes of the film.
Describing the sequence, Bobby shared that these two individuals, torn between a desire to end each other and an underlying love that binds them, Vanga planned to film the climactic sequence with a backdrop of a song that encapsulates the theme of love.
Bobby went on to share that, Sandeep told him that 'you're in the midst of a fierce battle, and then suddenly, you kiss him ( Ranbir), and in the end he takes your life'. But the kiss was edited out.
