Quack held as cabbie dies after taking drug

In Thanjavur, police have detained a quack who practises siddha after a taxi driver passed away after using a medication prescribed by him to treat impotence. Authorities are also investigating whether the quack poisoned the driver for refusing his approaches on a sexual basis. Ashokrajan, 27, was named as the dead by the police. The 47-year-old accused Kesavamoorthi operated a clinic on Cholapuram's East Street. Ashokrajan was dead, and according to the police, Kesavamoorthi.

Police in Thanjavur have arrested a quack practising siddha after a cab driver died on consuming a drug he had given him to cure impotency. Police are also probing if the quack had poisoned the driver for rebuffing his sexual advances.
Police identified the deceased as Ashokrajan, 27. The accused Kesavamoorthi, 47, had a clinic on East Street in Cholapuram.
Police said Kesavamoorthi confessed that Ashokrajan was dead and that he had buried the body in his compound.
