This is mainly due to the reliance on online zoom meetings and classes during the lockdown.

Dr Sharad Singh said that cancer is caused from a kind of radiation known as ionising radiation. It is a type of radiation that works by taking electrons out of atoms and molecules of various substances, such as water, air, and living tissue. These materials can allow ionising radiation to pass through them without being noticed. Within the electromagnetic spectrum, it lies on the right side. The radiation emitted by cell phones is much lower than ionising radiation and is called non-ionising radiation.
