In today's world, commercial photographers face numerous challenges, especially during times of economic downturn. As a commercial photographer myself, I have experienced firsthand the impact of reduced investment by clients on my profession. However, rather than succumbing to despair, I decided to embark on a different path—to utilize my skills to benefit the local community. Little did I know that this path would lead me on a unique journey, where the needs of the local people differed greatly from what I initially anticipated.
The Struggle of a Photographer: The COVID-19 pandemic hit our economy hard, leaving businesses and individuals grappling with financial uncertainty. As a result, many clients scaled back their spending on marketing and advertising, significantly affecting commercial photographers like myself. The scarcity of job opportunities left me with a sense of helplessness and a desire to contribute positively to my community during this challenging time.
Discovering a Path of Service: Driven by my desire to make a difference, I embarked on a mission to use my photography skills to help local people in need. I believed that through my lens, I could bring attention to the struggles faced by the less fortunate and inspire others to take action. I sought out individuals and organizations dedicated to uplifting the community, hoping to offer my services in documenting their efforts.
