Released in Japan back on July 22nd, 2017, the folks at Discotek Media picked up the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: Reflection anime feature film back in January 2023. They’ve now scheduled an August 29th, 2023 release for the film priced at $24.95. It’ll include the original Japanese with English subtitles and have the theatrical 5.1 audio with it. Extras so far are listed as including the trailers for it. A lot of Japanese films are very light to non-existent with extras in general.

The two-film project was directed by Takayuki Haman with Kana Hashidate on board for character designs. It’s being animated at Seven Arcs with Shochiku distributing it.

Plot Concept: Kyrie and Amitie Florian live on the barren planet Eltria, spending their days working alongside their parents to restore the planet to its once thriving and vibrant state. One day, their father Granz falls ill, and their dream of saving the planet begins to fade with him. Amitie wants to temporarily relocate the family off the planet so their father can recover, but her little sister has another idea.
Kyrie defies her sister’s request and embarks on a journey to save everything she loves. She believes the answer lies on a different planet, in a different universe, in an ancient tome called the Book of Darkness. It’s there she encounters Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate. Will Kyrie be able to bring back the cure for what ails her father and her home planet?
