We learned in February 2022 about a new anime adaptation being lined up for later this year with the light novel series Nōmin Kanren no Skill Bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta getting the nod. The books come from Shobonnu which began in 2016 and has eight volumes so far. The series translates as I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills.
Happinet is handling the distribution of the show on home video in Japan and has opted for box set releases. The full twelve-episode series is getting done as separate DVD and Blu-ray box sets priced at 29,000 yen and 30,000 yen respectively on February 24th, 2023. Extras include a booklet, audio commentary, clean opening, clean closing, and TV spots.
With the set long released, artwork hasn’t been available until now from the official site.
The series will be directed by Norihiko Nagaham and based on the series composition by Touko Machida. Masami Sueoka is working on the character designs with Studio A-Cat handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Junya Enoki as Al Wayne, Minami Tanaka as Fal-Ys Meigis, Rumi Okubo as Helen Rean, Ayaka Suwa as Ruri, Yukari Tamura as Ilvia, Masahiro Itou as Reaks, Mai Nakahara as Luccia Wayne, and Kenji Hamada as Gilles Wayne.
The series is set with the opening theme song “Growing up” by 7ORDER while the ending theme song is “Rolling Soul Happy Days” by Pop Shinanaide/Pop Never Dies.

He’s superpowered in the most unexpected of ways with abilities even the strongest of heroes would envy. Alas, all he wants is an idyllic farmer’s life, but with demons and monsters invading the realm, Al may have to take up the mantle of hero just to keep his dreams from withering away!
