While researching Subliminal Messaging, I couldn’t help but wonder whether there was some subliminal going on during the past three years which would somehow explain the viral fear humanity exhibited almost universally.
A constant stream of panic mixed with an endless repetition of the same mantras globally eventually led to a decay of our hard earned (and over centuries acquired!) ability to openly debate matters. Going forward (and using it as a simplified “BS propaganda detector”), it may well be worth remembering sentences such as “The science is settled”1 and “We will continue to be your single source of truth […] Unless you hear it from us it is not the truth.”2
Some would argue that the enormous responsibilities and pressures governments internationally were facing — and given the unprecedented uncertainty in most of their leaders’ lifetime — that strictly controlling the narrative was an acceptable move, but given the pandemic is now officially declared over, and with all the overwhelming evidence now being presented and documented3, one could think that people would let go of their past errors, realize they were conned, and, move on.
Far from it!
"Fear seems to have caused a wholesale psychic collapse." — Seth Smith4
In fact, many people are still living as if they were bound by a spell and continue to hypnotically deny themselves the liberation of “re-igniting” an open debate with old friends, seeking out different points of view with new acquaintances, and exchange knowledge and experiences to finally have the enriching discussions once again as we used to have in most societies.
But of course, this ain’t easy if you had taken a strong side before or during Covid, either judging those who ran for injections, or ridiculing those who didn’t:
Either way, this story in humanity’s ongoing journey of evolution to become a better form of itself, is far from over. If anything, now is the most critical time to either wake up and rekindle broken connections, or risk losing them — perhaps forever.
Author’s note: as this article may raise emotions and sensitivities with some readers, I would encourage you to not judge too early, as I’m only making my final points at the end, for which however the understanding of what’s written next is critically required. Thank you!
“Re-Capitulation.”
A fifth of the population was legally classified as unclean. They were barred from most public spaces, including theatres, restaurants, movies, pubs, clubs, swimming pools, sporting events, concerts, conventions, etc.
To access public facilities, people had to carry a digital mark with them so authorities could confirm they weren't unclean. The unclean were fired and barred from most jobs: education, healthcare, courts - all public sector work, most major union jobs and a wide smattering of major private employers. When they were fired, the unclean were denied employment insurance, the reasoning being that they had been fired for cause on account of being unclean.
The unclean were banned from travel on trains, planes, and chartered boats. They had no legal means of leaving the country. Even if they wanted to, they could not escape the country that obviously hated them so.
It became illegal to socialize with the unclean. They weren't allowed to attend weddings or funerals, or visit sick relatives or friends in hospital. Special laws were made for the unclean subjecting them to house arrest if they were around a person who had recently had a positive PCR test.
The unclean had to continue to cover their faces in public when universal masking was dropped. It became socially acceptable to wish death upon the unclean in social media and in major news organizations. Public health figures and other politicians gave press conferences to shame and insult the unclean. The public developed shared pejorative names for them, and relished in insulting the unclean. News media regularly ran polls asking if the unclean should be arrested or fined.
Public figures openly and proudly spoke about witholding medically necessary healthcare from the unclean - letting them die. The unclean were removed from organ transplant lists, condemned to almost certain death. No end date for these measures was ever suggested, no timeline given. To the contrary, this was called the "new normal".
Criticizing any of these developments made you a social pariah, and likely cost you most of your friendships and family relations, if not your job.
The lesson of the Holocaust - and of covid - isn't that Germans or Albertans or people of the 21st Century are uniquely gullible or evil. It's that for most people, "morality" is not a matter of principle, but rather of adopting what they perceive to be the dominant group ideology - even if that ideology is marked by wanton irrationality or brutal inhumanity.

But Why?
I believe we’ve been trained not to rationalize but instead emotionalize topics from childhood. It could well be one of the simplest reasons why propaganda keeps working repeatedly, despite a number of tough and well recorded lessons from history:
Is that why misinformation is typically policed by those who actually misinform?
Hypnosis and Mass Formation
Perhaps hypnosis and mass formation can explain the denials of a majority of people?
“Hypnosis and hypnosedation actually fit into a much wider range of phenomena that show us that human consciousness has an extraordinary influence on the body. The negative impact of anxiety and stress on the immune system, the placebo effect, yes, even ‘psychogenic death’ (when someone dies from a curse) - all are phenomena that demonstrate the curious, far-reaching influence of mental representations on the body.”
5
“That is precisely the key characteristic of mass formation: it sucks all solidarity out of the bond between people and injects it all into the bond between man and collective (i.e., the state). In the long run, that process impoverishes even the most intimate of human bonds, the bond between mother and child, and mothers feel more solidarity with the masses than with their own flesh and blood.” —
Comfortable Lies
“A large proportion of people prefer to live with a comfortable lie instead of rethinking their previous world view. However, the current political reality is so disgusting and diabolical that some citizens may not want to know. Nevertheless, it seems that these well-behaved people are unaware that their passivity is sawing off the supposedly safe branch on which they are sitting.” — Uwe Froschauer
But why and how was a large part of the people in recent history seduced into thinking and behaving in a way that didn’t correspond to their real Self?
A possible explanation lies in the pursuit of conformity and societal acceptance at the expense of individuality. Psychoanalyst Joyce McDougall coined this condition with the term “Normopathy”6.
"Normopathy" means an adaptation of a majority of people in a society to an undesirable development, to pathogenic psychosocial behavior, the disorder of which is no longer recognized and accepted because a majority thinks and acts in this way. And what the majority advocates can't be wrong - that's how everyone calms their conscience through auto-suggestion and allows themselves to be manipulated to adapt. Man's great ability to adapt is practically perverted in order to adapt to sick social conditions. This is supported by the basic psychosocial need of people to absolutely want to “belong” (to a partnership, family, group of friends, club, party, religion, nation, etc.) in order to be understood and acknowledged accordingly in the associated social milieu, also to be successful and under no circumstances to be rejected, shamed, marginalized and persecuted. Normopathy explains the pathological follower syndrome when a majority enthusiastically goes to war, imagines itself to be the master race, agrees to the extermination of nations, persecutes those who think differently, places ideology above reality and lives in narcissistic megalomania. — Dr. Hans-Joachim Maaz7
The Here and Now
“Those who choose to forget, don’t remember. Those who remember, won’t forget.”
It’s what I wrote in Retrospective Perspectives 2022/2023. Little did I know how strong this position would still hold itself in society a few months later.8
During many years of travel, I met thousands of people globally, stayed in touch with many personally, hoping to realize the wide spectrum of cultures (and opinions) we have manifested within our communities today in the form of knowledge. Meeting many incredible souls and appreciating their differences amongst each other, has been nothing but enriching for me, especially taking my polymathic views in mind.
All the more I feel sad, that the folks who got manipulated and conned during Covid, find it so hard to let go. They should realize their “mis-takes” by now and open up about them — especially to the people they were sneering at before. It would make things so much easier for humanity at large if they positioned themselves as victims rather than being the heroes of a fight in a losing battle trying to be on the right side of history.
However, I find it equally interesting that those who did notice that something was wrong with this pandemic, are the very same people not realizing that they themselves are now being played, simply by being overloaded with negative information that impacts their thinking to focus ahead. Many are stuck, fearing the future, and with it, their brothers and sisters.9
Whatever damage may have been done, continued fear and a lack of empathy cannot be the solution. Only a united humanity can live up to the promise to work out what really happened and subsequently embed such memories in our collective DNA for future generations to not repeat the same mistakes we’ve made.
It’s not the time to forgive and forget. It’s time to “re-member” and “re-unite”. For that realizing our true values, reigniting lost bonds and making an effort to heal is key.
I hope to hear from you (again), no matter what side of the fence you were (or are) sitting on.
My very best,
Toby

From Wikipedia — Normopathy is difficult to diagnose because normopaths are integrated in society. They depend on social approval and validation.

Certain research suggest the “shedding” concept of “self spreading” spikes. But IMHO the only fear worth fearing is the fear of fear itself, so if you need help, there is a solution.
This takes courage to talk about my friend. It is all hypnosis and will continue.
