Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:21 PM Monday April 24, 2023 of Ridge Avenue and Happfield Road Arlington Heights, IL. The Arlington Heights Police Department received a report that an unknown offender approached a juvenile female in attempt to lure her in his vehicle at an intersection on the north side of Arlington Heights near Buffalo Grove.
Arlington Heights police received a report that a juvenile female was walking in the area when a male subject driving a white 4-door Hyundai approached her and said, “I found you cute, do you want to go somewhere?”
The female declined the offer, and the suspicious subject drove away.
The subject was described as a white male, approximately 40 years-old, wearing a black hat and glasses. He was described as unshaven, and speaking with a “Russian accent.”
The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 2:20 PM.
