Warning! SPOILERS about Daisy Jones & The Six episodes 4 to 6 ahead.Amazon Prime Video’s Daisy Jones & The Six already made substantial changes to the Six and Camila’s involvement with the band, but Daisy Jones & The Six episodes 4 and 6 finally explained how influential Camila actually is in the miniseries. Although Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novel of the same name also had Camila among its interviewees, fully establishing her as a main character, it never involved Camila too much in the band’s professional life. Instead, the Daisy Jones & The Six series made Camila’s input central to the success of the Six and also considered her the sixth band member when they had to choose a new name.

Daisy Jones & The Six episodes 1 to 3 established Camila (Camila Morrone) as their informal manager, who also took photos and videos of their shows and mailed them to newspapers or phoned labels to promote the Six. While Daisy Jones & The Six’s band changes and the absence of a musician from the book created a plot hole, it also made Camila more than just Billy’s girlfriend, propelling her to be involved with the day-to-day organization of the band’s obligations. This became even more evident in the hand Camila had in pushing Billy to welcome Daisy to the group in Daisy Jones & The Six episodes 4 to 6.

Camila Is Behind Daisy Joining The Band In Daisy Jones & The Six Episode 4

Will Harrison as Graham, Camila Morrone as Camila, and Sam Claflin as Billy in Daisy Jones & The Six episode 2

In Reid’s Daisy Jones & The Six, Camila met Daisy for the first time during the Numbers Tour, whose shows Daisy opened. However, the Amazon rock drama had Camila become involved in trying to convince Billy to let Daisy join the band from the moment the song Honeycomb became a success. Despite the novel already establishing a sort of understanding between Camila and Daisy, since Camila was the only one that sincerely wished Daisy good luck before she went on stage, Amazon’s Daisy Jones & The Six made Camila an integral part of the plan to make Billy see how he needed Daisy to succeed.

Indeed, all members of the Six except Billy accepted how their shows were fundamentally changed by Daisy’s presence, with many wanting her to be part of the band. Only Camila’s words convinced Billy to finally give Daisy the benefit of the doubt, as he already knew their chemistry could have brought the band to stardom. Camila’s nudges toward Daisy’s inclusion in the Six resulting in her quote, "Billy, you and Daisy... it's exactly what you wanted. It's exactly what you need to get to where you want to go," not only proved how well Camila read the band and their public but also cemented her role as The Six’s guide, as without her, it would have been impossible for the Six to convince Billy to meaningfully involve Daisy.

Daisy Jones & The Six episode 6 showed the photoshoot that eventually delivered the cover photo for Aurora, which showcased Daisy Jones & The Six’s original songs. However, the photoshoot proved unsuccessful in Daisy Jones & The Six episode 6, but Camila’s sneaky photo of Billy and Daisy fighting should be easily recognized. While Daisy Jones & The Six hasn’t yet confirmed Camila’s shot as the album’s cover, that same photo appeared on Aurora’s cover in real life and resembled the album cover in the book too, hinting at Camila also being responsible for the band’s iconic cover and making her even more central to Daisy Jones & The Six.
