NEET application process begins, test on May 7

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified the start of the online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG 2023) on Monday. One can apply till April 6 and the test would be conducted on May 7.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified the start of the online application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG 2023) on Monday. One can apply till April 6 and the test would be conducted on May 7. The admission test for MBBS/ BDS, as well as for BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS and Military Nursing Service will be conducted in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

As per the notification the entrance test shall consist of 200 multiple choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from physics, chemistry, and biology (Botany and Zoology). Each subject will have 50 questions divided into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the examination will be 200 minutes from 2 PM to 5:20 PM and shall be uniform for all candidates.
