Did you know Ranbir Kapoor drank bhang during ‘Balam Pichkari’ with Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin?

Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin is still one of the most loved films in Bollywood.
Recently, while promoting his upcoming film, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ on the sets of a singing reality show, Ranbir looked back at the shooting days of ‘Balam Pichkari’. The actor revealed that they shot for the song for eight days. According to him, shooting for the song was quite difficult as there were too many dancers and it was too sunny.However, he added that when you get a good song, you get energy from within and you feel like performing it.

Ranbir went on to add that Aditya, Kalki, Deepika and he had a blast. He also revealed that they would drink Bhaang, hiding from everyone so that no one gets to know.

Meanwhile, Ranbir has clarified that he is not playing a casanova in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’. "My character in the film is not a Casanova. I help people who have problems in their love lives. I come up with solutions for their problems, I am a break-up artist. So, yeh kuch biopic nahi hai. It is not based on my life," he said.
The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. It also features Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. It is slated to hit the theatres on March 8, 2023.
