It would be an absolute travesty if the Georgia legislature put itself in charge of “policing” D.A.s who, in the legislature’s infinite wisdom, decide the D.A.s are not doing their job correctly. You obviously know that there is an entity already in place to determine whether a D.A. is doing his or her job correctly, and that is the local judges. Judges can sanction a D.A.’s office. It can dismiss cases and say it’s due to incompetence. A judge has a big toolbox to make one step down. But not one big enough to take over control of an office if “displeased” with the D.A.’s performance.

The judges in Fulton Co. appear pleased with Willis’s cautious approach to Trump (Special grand jury and report, judges review if the report is sufficient).

You didn’t think that the state government in Georgia would allow Willis to just indict and put Trump on trial, did you? (For two years, I have written that I am wary of state charges against an ex-president and thought it should be left to the DOJ. The Georgia U.S. Attorney’s office better be ready to step in with the special report if anything happens to Willis.)

Trump is so pleased! He sees a means to get back at the state of Georgia which has been so awful to him!

The Racist District Attorney in Atlanta, Fani T. Willis, one of the most dangerous and corrupt cities in the U.S., is now calling the Georgia Legislature, of course, RACIST, because they want to make it easier to remove and replace local rogue prosecutors who are incompetent, racist, or unable to properly do their job. This is a great development for Georgia, but also other parts of the Country. Congratulations to the Georgia Legislature for having the courage to act boldly, fairly, and fast!

Oh, oh, oh, you selfless hero! You didn’t even mention yourself and the fact that you’re fukt in Georgia IF Willis goes through with the indictment (You and a lot of other people, your “friends.”) And every black person who DARES to prosecute you is “racist!” Poor baby. If there was any karma and second lives, etc., you’d be sent back to earth after your death, remembering everything about your past life but being born poor and black, living in Northwest Georgia, Marj’s district. Talk about people who have to work hard and pay extra attention to not be pulled over, especially if driving while black later than 9:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. Want to talk about racism?

I did some research on the situation in Georgia, and though the legislature took up the topic a year ago, it is Texas that is currently considering such action right now. That doesn’t mean that Trump isn’t publishing wishful thinking, nor publishing stuff just to get the Georgia legislature moving. It may even be that he wants his people to think Georgia can stop any indictment against him. Most likely of all? He’s confusing news and states because he’s stupid AF.

So, there could be some trouble brewing in Georgia. Fani Willis is infinitely more qualified and has better judgment than me. She will do the best thing short and long term.
