'Pathaan' director Siddharth Anand REVEALS how Shah Rukh Khan reacted when he was approached for the film; says, 'I can't forget that moment'

Siddharth Anand 's 'Pathaan' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham has scored a humongous figure at the worldwide box office.
In an interview with a news portal, director Siddharth Anand revealed how Shah Rukh Khan reacted when he was approached for the film. Siddharth revealed that he wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan, that too in an out-and-out action film.
Eloborating further, Siddharth added that he had the title 'Pathaan' in his mind for a long time and developed the plot for the film a few years back.
The filmmaker further added that he narrated the idea to filmmaker Aditya Chopra, who instantly liked it and decided to include it in his spy universe.
Speaking about Shah Rukh Khan's reaction after listening to the story of the film. Siddharth revealed that Shah Rukh Khan instantly said yes to the film. He went on to say that he can't forget that moment, he can't forget that location, he can't forget the visuals when Adi called him and said that SRK is doing the film.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathaan’ marked Shah Rukh Khan’s impressive return to the big screen after the debacle of ‘Zero’ in 2018.

Despite the drop in some sectors, the film has continued its golden run at the box office in Delhi/UP and is likely to become the first Rs 100 crore nett film in the circuit.
