Seemingly triggered by Durant's question O'Neal commented under a video tweeted out by Durant's company Boardroom saying ''i don't kno ball, but i kno how to brush my hair, or decide to cut it when i was going bald. love always THE BUS DRIVER,'

Shaquille O'Neal took to Twitter to send some very harsh words in the direction of Kevin Durant
Durant questioned if O'Neal 'knows ball' after O'Neal's comments on the Lakers recent trade
O'Neal responded by calling out the appearance of Durant's hair before taking a dig at him

Durant replied simply by tweeting ' Damn, I got cooked for asking a simple question.'

The 'BUS DRIVER' reference is referring to a conversation O'Neal and Charles Barkley had about Durant during an episode of 'Inside the NBA' during the 2022 playoffs after the Brooklyn Nets were swept by the Boston Celtics.

Barkley referred at Durant as a 'bus rider' and questioned the legitimacy of the two rings Durant won with the Golden State Warriors when he teamed up with fellow multi-time all stars Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

'I don't want to badmouth the dude, but you guys are always talking about that championship stuff,' Barkley said at the time. 'I tried to tell y'all, all these bus riders, they don't mean nothing to me.

'If you ain't driving the bus, don't walk around telling me you a champion. All these guys walking around with these championship rings, hey, y'all bus riders. When you're the bus driver and you've got all that pressure when you have to play well or you're going to get the blame, that's a different animal.'

Durant is no stranger to digs analyst from 'Inside the NBA' after disputes with Charles Barkley

While discussing Durant's legacy on ESPN's 'Get Up' in June, Barkley said NBA old heads won't respect Durant unless he's the 'bus driver' on a championship team.

Though O'Neal would go on to agree with Barkley's comments, it should be noted that Barkley never won a championship during his 16-year career.

Durant recently signed a four-year $198 million extension with the Nets in August 2021 only months after requesting a trade from the organization.

If Durant wins a championship in Brooklyn during those four years he will certainly kill any notions about whether he is a bus driver or a bus rider.

Barkley has often said that he and other former NBA players don't respect Durant's NBA finals wins
