Fernando Tatis Jr. bobblehead among Padres’ 2023 giveaways

Fernando Tatis Jr. is finally getting a bobblehead.

He’s not alone, as the Padres on Thursday announced several fan-favorite giveaways on their 2023 promotional schedule.

Tatis was due to get a bobblehead last year, but his performance-enhancing drug suspension forced the Padres to replace that giveaway with a Juan Soto City Connect “shirsey.”

This year, both Tatis (Sept. 5) and a shuffling Soto (April 13) will receive bobbleheads, as will Manny Machado in the City Connect uniform (May 15), Yu Darvish (July 24) and Ha-Seong Kim (Aug. 22).

The 2023 promotional schedule also includes theme game packages that can be purchased here and often include limited-edition items, like the “Don and Mud” bobblehead night on Aug. 18 that honors broadcasters Don Orsillo and Mark Grant. Other theme games are focused around the San Diego Zoo, “Harry Potter,” “Star Wars” and various organizational and cultural nights.

Season ticket sales will end Feb. 4 during FanFest.

Single-game tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 7.
