When this woman’s best friend called her and told her about these puppies on a farm and told her she had to go adopt the other puppy, the woman was glad she listened. @goldfishclub went to the Amish farm and adopted a puppy named Lucy. She brought Lucy home and realized that she was infected with lice. She gave her medicine and combed the lice out of her fur every day her every day until she was better. After two days, she was doing well, and now all they had to worry about was her hernia.

In a follow-up video, she clarified that the farm that she got Lucy from was not a puppy mill. The litter was not intentional, and they just ended up with puppies and were focused on selling them for very little and finding them good homes.

@goldfishclub updated her followers that Lucy was officially in a foster program, and she was her foster. Although Lucy already had a lot of applications, they didn’t know when she would be able to go to her new home due to the lice.

Replying to @jenmichellee “Breed experience required” is at the tippy top of her description :) #fosterpuppy #bordercollie

As much as she loved little Lucy and her antics, she knew that she didn’t need a puppy and was just happy to help Lucy until she could find that forever home and family that would give her everything she deserved.

@goldfishclub

She’s really great but me and my SO are not ready for a whole adult border collie 🤪 #animals #pet #fosterpuppy #fosterdog #bordercollie
