Looks like Friday night was no less than a star-studded affair in BTown. Rani Mukerji hosted a birthday bash for her daughter Adira. Anushka Sharma along with her daughter Vamika, Karan Johar along with his kids, and many other celebs were seen arriving for the party.
Anushka kept it cool and comfy in a white tee, while Karan was seen sporting a pink hoodie.
Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi along with their daughter Mehr, Shilpa Shetty Kundra along with her kids Viaan and Samisha, Shweta Nanda were captured outside Yashraj Studio. Veteran actress Rekha was also seen arriving. She even greeted the paparazzi from her car. Actress Sonam Kapoor also was seen outside the studio. Riteish Deshmukh was also captured.
Rani Mukerji, has consciously kept her daughter Adira away from the spotlight. She had earlier revealed that her little one is not fond of the paparazzi.
Rani shared that Adira is confused about why the photographers keep clicking pictures of her whenever they step outside. According to the actress, her daughter is very particular about herself. For her, yes means, yes and no means, no and you can’t really change that. Rani added that whenever Adira sees paparazzi, she starts shouting, ‘No photos mumma’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rani was last seen in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ co-starring Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. The film also starred Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh in key roles. It received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike. Next, the actress is gearing up for ‘Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway’. Being directed by Ashima Chibber, the movie is an untold story about a mother’s battle against an entire country. According to Rani, it is one of the most significant film of her 25-year-long career. Speaking about the film, Rani had shared, "I’m very emotionally invested in this story as it connected with me as an actor and a mother. These are stories that need to be told!!! I really hope my next few years in cinema is studded with more such brilliant scripts. I’m hungry for them because these films not only entertain audiences but also deliver a great message to people. I want to do movies that are about hope and love.”
