Emerging united fight against National Pension Scheme – A good sign. • We are insisting over a decade that the NPS is the No pension scheme that should be scrapped. • Many promoted postal employees in the cadre of Postmen and MTS are getting annuity less than 1200 per month. • In Tamilnadu alone more than 1000 Postal officials drawing annuity lesser than Rs.1500. • From the beginning we insist that minimum amount of pension annuity should be determined in the case of Postal promotes. • This has not been given due importance. • Now Five State Governments were come out from NPS and re-introduced the social security old pension scheme to its employees. (West Bengal it was not introduced. Now Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Punjab have restored Ops this year.) • JCM Staff side in the Standing Committee meeting held on 22.9.2022 demanded to withdraw the NPS and restore OPS. • One letter was sent on 2.11.2022 detailing the urge of restoration of OPS. • Three examples were cited from the Defence about the quantum of Annuity under NPS to the extent of Rs.2417, 2506 & 4900. • JCM Staff side sought time to meet the Cabinet Secretary by a delegation. • JCM Staff side decided to hold a meeting on 17.11.2022 to discuss strategic plan and invited all the organisations and state federations fighting against NPS. • A momentum is being build up and it should be further strengthened • Till February 2022, 22.74 lakhs CG employees are covered under NPS. 55.44 lakhs State Government employees. • This should be key poll issue to be raised by the Government employees. ------------------------------------- Visit https://yourskayveeyes.blogspot.com/ for latest Government Orders. #Kayveeyes #Yours_Kayveeyes #K_V_Sridharan #NFPE #p300 NPS Old Pension Scheme JCM Staff side #Postal
